STOPHER BARTOL
Chief Executive Officer

Bartol oversees management, operations and strategy for Legacy.com, Inc.

Before launching Legacy.com in 1998, Bartol spent 10 years in management consulting with McKinsey & Company.

A native of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, he earned a Bachelor’s degree from Beloit College, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
 
 
JOHN BIKUS
Chief Marketing Officer

Bikus oversees marketing initiatives for Legacy.com, Inc., and all of its products.

Bikus joined the Company in 2000 from Kraft Foods, Inc., where he was a Brand Manager. Before that, he worked as a Senior Account Executive for ACNielsen.

A native of Chicago, Bikus earned a Bachelor's degree from Beloit College, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
 
 
HELENE DONAHUE
Chief Financial Officer

Donahue oversees financial planning and reporting, accounting and Human Resources for Legacy.com, Inc.

Before joining the Company in October 2007, Donahue operated her own consulting company, Burling Consulting LLC.

She previously served as Vice President, Operations Quality, for GE Capital’s Retailer Financial Services Division, and Director of Finance for American Express.

A native of New York, Donahue earned her Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University. She also holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Donahue serves as a Trustee and a member of Audit and Educational Programs Committees for the Hackley School in New York, and as a member of the Advancement Committee for the Sacred Heart School in Chicago.

 
 
HAYES FERGUSON
Chief Operating Officer

Ferguson oversees content, customer service, communications and corporate culture for Legacy.com, Inc.

She joined the Company in 2000 as Vice President and was promoted to her current position in 2001.

Before moving to Legacy.com, Ferguson was a Project Writer for People magazine,and, earlier, the Latin America Bureau Chief for The Times-Picayune of New Orleans. She started her career selling newspaper subscriptions and was a marketing and sales manager for retailer Esprit de Corp.

In addition to her work at Legacy.com, Ferguson is an adjunct instructor at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

A native of New Orleans, Ferguson earned a Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University. She did graduate work as a Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan and was a Rotary Scholar at the University of Perugia in Italy.
 
 
JEFFREY MILLS
Chief Technology Officer

Mills manages technology infrastructure, communications infrastructure and Web site and product development for Legacy.com, Inc., and all of its products. Mills joined the Company formally in 2000, after working as a consultant since 1998.
 
He previously was Director of Development for frequent-traveler miles company MaxMiles, Inc., where he was responsible for managing Web site and product development and helped launch the company’s online presence. Before that, he was a Senior Application Programmer/Consultant for hedge fund management software provider Shepro Braun Systems, Inc.

A native of Chicago, Mills earned a Bachelor's degree from North Central College.
 
 
ERNIE ROTH
Senior Vice President, New Business

Roth oversees Legacy's new business initiatives, including advertising opportunities for all of Legacy.com's products.

Roth joined the Company in 2006 from the Chicago District Golf Association, where he served as Associate Executive Director. Before that, he had been with Tribune Interactive as General Manager of ChicagoSports.com, and with the Chicago Cubs, where he was Director of Publications and Special Projects.

A native of Chicago, Roth earned a Bachelor's degree from Amherst College. He also holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
 
 
KIM VANDER VELDE
Vice President of Sales

Vander Velde oversees sales efforts for Legacy.com's Web sites.

Vander Velde joined Legacy.com in 2002 as Director of Newspaper Affiliates. She was promoted to Director of Sales in 2007 and to Vice President of Sales in January 2008.

She previously worked as Director of Business Development for YesMail, and as Affiliate Relations Manager for Classified Ventures.

A native of Cleveland, Vander Velde earned a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Ohio and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
